Our offer
As a Commodity Buyer, you will represent one of the commodities within Cleantech, which is organized according to a matrix structure. RAVO, part of the Cleantech organization, plays a key role in this. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of our purchasing processes for the Power Train & E-Power Train commodities.
You will be part of RAVO's local purchasing team and report both to the RAVO Supply Chain Manager and functionally to your Commodity Manager. Your expertise and strategic insight are crucial to the success of our organization.

Main tasks
  • Coordination of the Commodity Team.
  • Defining, implementing, and monitoring the commodity strategy.
  • Managing the supplier portfolio and dealing with critical suppliers.
  • Participating in meetings and global negotiations with key suppliers.
  • Stimulating and co-managing technical savings with engineering.
  • Participating in make-or-buy decisions.

About you

 Candidate profile

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (HBO level), preferably in purchasing management or supply chain management.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus.
  • You are able to flexibly combine your soft skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • You are flexible, proactive, and have a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • You are able to motivate, inspire, and guide the team to achieve Cleantech's objectives.
Besides these factors, your personality is equally important. Your communication skills enable you to formulate and argue your points clearly. You're stress-resistant and naturally committed to achieving optimal business results. You're also willing to travel for work, which is essential for this role. Finally, you'll fit well into RAVO's corporate culture if you're an eager-to-learn team player.
