RAVO Benelux, with workshops in Amsterdam and Alkmaar, is the sales and service organization (dealer) for RAVO in the Netherlands. They operate machines from RAVO, Mathieu, and Scarab. With approximately 40 colleagues, the ambition is to exceed customer expectations every day. This is achieved through listening, brainstorming, creativity, and a hands-on approach. In this way, RAVO Benelux contributes to clean streets and a clean living environment for everyone.

Mission

For our dealer, RAVO Benelux, you'll be the one ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll manage an optimal strategic, tactical, and operational process surrounding the after-sales of our machines. You'll be the central figure, ensuring our customers receive optimal service and the flawless execution by our technicians. To achieve this, you'll work together with our service coordinators, technical helpdesk, and RAVO Benelux Manager, striving for the best possible solution for all parties. You'll be responsible for both the quality of the work delivered and the overall customer experience. You'll (indirectly) oversee the 16 employees within the department, spread across our locations in Amsterdam and Alkmaar. Approximately seven employees will report directly to you.

Key-responsibilities

As After Sales Manager, your main responsibilities include:
  • Managing, coaching, and supporting the After Sales team within RAVO Benelux, either individually or in collaboration with their supervisor;
  • Developing operational, tactical, and strategic policies regarding After Sales matters for RAVO Benelux, within general RAVO guidelines;
  • Building optimal customer relationships, exploring commercial opportunities for the benefit of our customers and RAVO;
  • Ensuring that the administrative process and our IT tools are optimally configured;
  • Actively seeking interaction with colleagues at our production sites to improve our machines and services;
  • Organizing streamlined and well-organized branches (Amsterdam and Alkmaar), which serve as a showcase for the organization and our dealer network.
In this role, you will work closely with your direct supervisor, the RAVO Benelux Manager in Alkmaar. You will also have frequent contact with other departments within the RAVO and Cleantech organization.

About you

Candidate profile

• A completed Bachelor degree in (technical) business administration/automotive technology or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar management position within a technical manufacturing company;
• Extensive experience optimizing administrative processes, with knowledge of SAP as a plus;
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Dutch and English.

Besides these qualities, your personality is equally important. You are a strong communicator and service-oriented. You genuinely care about the people in your team and go the extra mile for satisfied customers. Your problem-solving skills are strong, combined with a curiosity to learn our machines inside and out. You also thrive under pressure and maintain a clear overview in hectic situations. Finally, you enjoy working independently to ensure the smooth running of your own shop.
