The Production Manager is responsible for leading multiple assembly production lines to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality equipment. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this position provides leadership and development to Production Supervisors while driving operational performance through a disciplined focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). The Production Manager champions a Lean Manufacturing culture by fostering continuous improvement, eliminating waste, developing high-performing teams, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.

Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience, including 3 to 5 years in a leadership role overseeing production operations, supervisors, and multiple production lines.
- Experience in a heavy equipment, industrial equipment, automotive, or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S, visual management, standardized work, and root cause problem-solving.
- Proven ability to develop and lead supervisors and build high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and performance management.
- Experience using production metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational performance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality systems, inventory control, and workplace safety practices.
- Experience collaborating effectively with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Materials, Maintenance, and Human Resources in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience using ERP/MRP systems.
