Main tasksAs a Teamleader, you are responsible for carrying out the assembly activities of your assigned department.
This means that you and your fellow team leaders ensure that production targets are achieved within the set timeframes and with the required quality. Based on the planning, you create a weekly plan to utilize available capacity for output, training, and quality. You coordinate your activities and capacity with your fellow team leaders, the production planner, and the productionleader. This process is supported by various line coordinators who work closely with the teamleaders.
You are flexible in your deployment across the various departments and cover for your fellow team leaders in their absence. You are able to perform various analyses based on information from various systems and methodologies and translate these into actions on the work floor. You follow up on these analyses to achieve agreed-upon KPIs. Within your team and together with your fellow team leaders, you create and encourage a culture of continuous improvement, initiate process improvement initiatives, and ensure their successful implementation.
You will have close contact with your manager and other departments, such as logistics, quality, HR and/or QHSE
About you
Candidate profile- Technical secondary school;
- Several years of knowledge and experience in a management role in serial production processes, preferably involving technically advanced products;
- Knowledge and experience in modern process improvement techniques such as LEAN Manufacturing;
- Fluent in various Microsoft Office programs.
- You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to provide inspiring and coaching leadership.
- You are naturally eager to improve processes in collaboration with supporting departments.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
